Liz is a Director at Porters and brings a deep passion for the private rental sector in Wales. She is highly committed to staying up to date with rental market trends, Welsh housing legislation and compliance requirements for Landlords, ensuring Porters clients always receive accurate, current advice.
With the Renters' Rights Act 2026 coming into force in England in May 2026, Liz — alongside fellow Director Sherrie — has invested significant time into understanding the implications of these changes and, importantly, how they differ from the Renting Homes (Wales) Act. Her meticulous attention to detail ensures nothing is overlooked when advising landlords operating in Wales.
Liz thrives on supporting Landlords, particularly first time Landlords, by reducing the stress and uncertainty that often comes with letting a property. Her proactive and knowledgeable approach helps Landlords remain compliant while maximising the value of their rental investments.
Outside of work, Liz enjoys exploring some of Bridgend’s favourite restaurants, including Huna, Francos and La Cocina, and supporting the local community through Porters’ sponsorship of Bridgend Athletic RFC - where she can often be found cheering the team, and her Son, from the sidelines.
Liz also loves spending time outdoors, walking the Ogmore by Sea coastline with her dog, Tinks. Liz is lucky enough to be able to travel around the world visiting her Daughter, wherever she maybe, she's recently visited Bucharest and Bali which was on the bucket list! A huge live music enthusiast, she regularly attends gigs and festivals, with the Isle of Wight Festival being an annual highlight.
With a degree in Education and qualifications in sales and marketing, Liz is passionate about communication and accessibility. She actively encourages the Porters team to engage on social media, reinforcing Porters’ reputation as a friendly, approachable and knowledgeable lettings agency in South Wales.
