Broadlands is located on the south western edge of Bridgend, approximately 2.5 miles from Bridgend Town centre and provides easy access to junction 35 of the M4 and the seaside town of Porthcawl via the A48. 

It’s a more recent housing development in the Bridgend area with approximately 2,300 residential properties. At the heart of Broadlands you can find the primary school and local shopping precinct with its express supermarket, hairdressers, dentist, tanning studio, cafes and chip shop as well as the local pub and restaurant, The Llangewydd Arms where regular Live entertainment takes place. Bryntirion and Brynteg comprehensive school are both accessible from the estate.

There are a number of parks dotted around the estate for little ones to be entertained with a cycle path that connects the estate to Bridgend town and Newbridge fields. A bus route runs from Bridgend to Broadlands and is available from Monday to Saturday making access to local transport links easy, there are also several walking paths making it close enough for a gentle stroll into town.
